Ambic presented the results of a research project it has been conducting into teat spray technologies at the NMC international mastitis conference which was held in San Antonio, Texas from 21-24 January 2007. This project has been undertaken in conjunction with Silsoe Spray Applications, the world leading spray research organisation based in Silsoe in the UK and had the remit to identify teat spraying performance factors that can enhance mastitis prevention. Design criteria included optimisation of teat coverage, minimising chemical wastage and improving operator safety and human health. The results of the research are now being used to design Ambic’s next generation of teat spray system.
