Ambic has added a further newcomer to its extensive dip cup range. TwinDipper Plus is an enhanced version of the popular TwinDipper, which has two delivery tubes to provide the same volume of chemical for half the squeeze, thus reducing the effort required to apply thick, barrier type dips. The TwinDipper Plus version also has a special non return valve built into the body of the dip cup to speed the recovery of the dip cup bottle after it has been squeezed to apply dip, thus speeding up the dipping process when particularly thick barrier dips are being used.

Following the completion of new tooling in January Ambic was on target to launch its new EasiDipper™ automated dipping system at World Ag Expo which took place from 9th – 11th February in Tulare, California. Keen interest was expressed in the new system which is designed to combine the accuracy of teat dipping with the speed of teat spraying.

Ambic's new teat dip sample bottles came to the rescue for a dairy chemical manufacturer at the beginning of December. The dairy chemical manufacturer wanted to distribute samples of their new teat dip chemicals directly to dairy farmers from their stand at the Ulster Winter Fair. The samples needed to be in a user friendly format that made it esay for their customers to put the new teat dips straight to the test on their cows.

Ambic's new dip cup sample bottle was the ideal solution. Printed with a dedicated tag line and pre-filled with chemical, the sample bottles will fit any Ambic dip cup. Remove the sealing cap, fit an Ambic dip cup top and their customers were ready to put the new dips to the test...

Ambic’s new AutoFoamer made it through to the final round of 10 finalists for the newly established RABDF Livestock Machinery & Equipment Award at this year’s Dairy Event.

RABDF created this new award for exhibitors in order to recognise the importance of machinery and equipment to the profitability of the dairy industry. Judges appraised each entry’s innovation, its economic advantages, running costs, servicing requirements, safety features, energy usage, potential market and list price.

Making it through to the final round confirms both the innovative design and market relevance of the AutoFoamer. Teat cleaning is one of the most important stages of the pre-milking process and the AutoFoamer provides farmers with a labour efficient and cost effective means of completing this important step in the prepping process.

Ambic’s sales and marketing team was spread thin last week as they battled to cope with inquiries on their show stands which were being manned concurrently at the Dairy Event in Stoneleigh, UK and the SPACE show in Rennes in France. Interest was brisk at both shows for the new PeraSray system and for the AutoFoamer foam system, which was a finalist for the RABDF new equipment award.

Next stop is World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wisconsin in the USA which runs from 29th September until 3rd October.
